What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you complete one of our contact forms, you will be asked to also be added to our newsletter. if you don’t tick this box, you will not receive our monthly newsletter but we might still contact you regarding your booking or event and offer suggestions to make your evening more enjoyable.
If you do not want to receive any communication from us at all, then you can let us know writing to email@example.com and we will make sure you never hear from us again!
We also also for your telephone number, but we will only use this to send you information regarding your booking or directions to our restaurant. We do not cold call our clients.
All your contact details are kept in our contact book online using “The Fork”. Only our staff have access to this contact book and your details are kept for 2 years. Id you want us to remove your contact details from our database, please do not hesitate to contact us by writing an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Who we share your data with
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We use your contact information only for confirmations / changes or cancellations to your booking. We also might use this data to send you events & promotions, but you can always opt out of these notifications.

We do not receive data from 3rd parties that can include your contact details.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
We are happy to host any type of event in The Farm Marbella and the following terms & conditions apply:
- Bookings of over 12 people are considered events
- Events will need to be pre-booked and pre-paid
- Event reservations are confirmed once a 30% deposit has been received based on the estimate of the event. If no estimate has been given, we accept a payment of 250€ as confirmation of event booking.
- The balance of any event needs to be paid 1 week prior to the event or during the final meeting with our staff. This payment can be done by bank transfer (1 week before the event) or in cash or with credit card (during your final meeting)
- If any extras are consumed during the event that we not accounted for in the prior estimate, they shall be paid on the night using credit card or cash.
- Reserving certain areas in The Farm Marbella will be possible only if a minimum spend has been reached – please enquire our staff for the minimum spend options for these areas.
- If the minimum spend of the reserved area has not been reached, we do not refund the difference. The client will have to make up for the difference purchasing more food or beverages.
